We are Unwicked, Inc.

What is Unwicked? We are working to start providing data and reporting for the venture system, while also reducing barriers to funding.

We deeply believe that more people should be working together to create a thriving eco-system instead of a fear based system where everyone is struggling, returns are low etc. We also see decisions being made in 3 minutes or less, based off of pitch decks which is out dated.

Why are we doing this? Because we believe that there are a few flaws with the investment ecosystem — some of the highest potential companies don’t get enough funding because of networks, pitchdecks have almost no correlation with the potential of a startup (unless pitching directly to corporates), deals get looked at once, it’s hard for funds to get to know startups over time and more. We believe if we help give people a better high level overview of the system as a whole, we will make more decisions that impact profit, people purpose and planet.
